My family and I were extremely satisfied with the treatment and care that the Harp Treatment Center afforded to our son, and why we give them a five-star and two thumbs up rating. After our son was hospitalized for more than 2 1/2 weeks, the hospital recommended that we send him to a dual diagnosis rehabilitation and therapy facility for 30 days for marijuana abuse and dependency, and for his underlying anxiety. Not knowing where to turn, and with little guidance, we proceeded to research online every facility in Florida, and created a short list of 30 facilities in Southeast Florida. As we visited each facility, we became more and more disenchanted, as the facilities were anything but what they represented on their webpages or on the telephone. That was until we got to the Harp. When we first got to the Harp, their C.O.O. Michael Walsh spent over 2 hours inquiring about our son's case, to determine whether the Harp could meet his needs and requirements, or whether he would need to recommend us to another facility. After touring the facility, and meeting their therapists and nursing staff, we could finally breath a sigh of relief, as we knew that the Harp was by leaps and bounds the best facility for our son. In fact, the Harp is nestled right on the intra-coastal waterway, where our son was allowed to fish and otherwise relax and unwind whenever not in therapy. During his stay at the Harp, we received almost daily updates on our son's condition and recovery. Since leaving the Harp, our son has made a dramatic improvement, and to this day, our son still calls and thanks the staff at the Harp for their attention, care and help during his stay. Before completing this review, I want to extend a special thanks to Michal, our son's therapist Charles, Graham in admissions, Lisa their nurse in charge, and Linda in administration. If you are parents like us, and find yourself in a similar crisis, I would highly recommend that you put the Harp at the top of your list, and after visiting and meeting the staff of the Harp and other facilities, you will realize and appreciate that the Harp sets the bar when it comes to dual diagnostic care and therapy, and the natural choice for your loved one.
